SOUTHFIELD, Mich.  –
Hannah Stone posted nine kills on the day to surpass the 1,000 kill milestone for her career as she led the No. 25 ranked volleyball team  to a sweep of Lawrence Tech. Davenport, who is now 9-3 overall and 4-0 in league play, dominated the first two sets 25-12, 25-17 before holding off the Blue Devils in the third 26-24. A balanced attack that saw the Panthers hit at a .279 clip enabled Davenport to win their eighth straight match overall and extend their set-unbeaten streak to 24.
The first two sets were all Davenport as they limited the Blue Devils to just 15 kills to go along with 16 errors winning by a combined 21 points. DU then recovered from a slow start in the third to come back and defeat the host school 26-24 for their seventh straight sweep.
