GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – After winning all three games last weekend, highlighted by a sweep of Oakland to reclaim the Good Luck DUck, the Davenport D1 hockey team will hit the road for their final non-conference games of the season against Lindenwood. The final non-conference games will be important for the Panthers as they start to head down the final stretch of the season. The weekend series against Lindenwood will begin on Friday at 8 p.m. EST, before they wrap up the season series in St. Charles, Mo., on Saturday at 5 p.m. EST.

Scouting LindenwoodÂ
The Lions enter the weekend with a 12-10-2-0 record on the season, and they were able to split with defending national champion, Arizona State, at home last weekend capped off by a 3-2 shootout win. Lindenwood has had a balance scoring attack this season as they have three players leading the team with 19 points on the season, while Rock Einersen leads the team with 13 goals and Michael Lozano leads in the team in assists with 13. Cody Karpinski and Michael Hails have split time in net this season, while Karpinski has played five more games on the season compiling a 2.79 goals against average and a .902 save percentage.

The PanthersÂ
After the three games last week, Davenport is now 15-9-1-4 on the season, while
Kody Polin leads the team with 27 points, while
Chris Eckler leads the team with 17 assists on the year and has 26 points on the year. The lead goal scorer for Davenport is
Jordan Simmonds with 15 on the year, and he has chipped in with ten assists. Through four games, newcomer
Cameron Dimmitt has compiled seven points for the Panthers highlighted by the game winning goal last Saturday to clinch the Good Luck DUck for Davenport.
Clayton Brown at
Matt Kaludis split time in goal this season to compile a goals against average of 2.83 and a .895 save percentage.

GLCHL OutlookÂ
Adrian leads the GLCHL with 43 points on the season, while Michigan-Dearborn is in second place with 37 points. After three straight wins last week, Davenport is in third place with 35 points. The Panthers have put some space between them and fourth place Oakland who as 29 points on the year holding a slim one point margin over fifth place Western Michigan. Kent State and Eastern Michigan round out the GLCHL with 22 and 12 points, respectively.

ACHA RankingsÂ
In the first ACHA rankings that were released last week, the top two teams, Arizona State and Central Oklahoma, were able to hang onto their spots, while everyone else in the top-25 shifted except for Liberty. The only team to jump into the rankings was Colorado State. Davenport dropped from 16th to 18th, while the Panthers opponent this week, Lindenwood, moved from sixth to eighth in the most recent rankings.
