GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Panthers hosted Lourdes University Friday night in a match up with the undefeated Gray Wolves. Lourdes took a 2-0 match lead quickly as they handed the Panthers 25-12 and 25-18 losses. The Panthers then overcame the Gray Wolves in set three as
Ashley VanderHorst came alive on the attack with five kills in the set. The Panthers took the set 25-18 as
Sydney Tracer contributed 11 assists in the set while
Molly Lameyer and
Jessica Marvin combined for seven block assists to bring DU within one set of the Gray Wolves.
Lourdes would fend off Davenport in the fourth set as a 25-17 decision dropped the Panthers to 11-12 overall and 5-5 in the WHAC. Lameyer led DU with 12 kills and Tracer recorded 23 assists.

Morgan Torres led the defense with 22 combined digs.
