DEARBORN, Mich. – The women's volleyball team completed their first half of the WHAC schedule Saturday afternoon with a road match up with Michigan-Dearborn. The Panthers dominated the day as they took out the Wolverines (25-16, 25-11, 25-9) to advance to 12-12 on the season and 6-5 in the WHAC.
DU broke open an early 8-to-7 edge in set one with five-straight points as they took control of the match early.
Molly Lameyer continued to lead the offense as she put together an eight-kill day while hitting .636.
Ashley VanderHorst contributed with eight kills while
Sydney Tracer added 25 assists.
The Panthers rolled in sets two and three as they would put together early runs in each set to leave the Wolverines behind.
Morgan Torres led the defense with 12 digs while
Jessica Marvin led the team with four blocks.
