GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Panthers hosted University of Northwestern Ohio Wednesday in their final regular season home match of 2015. DU was led by its seniors to a 3-0 win over the Racers as they advanced their 2015 record to 17-16, 9-7.

Molly Lameyer and
Marcey DeHaan led the Panther attack as they each compiled 11 kills while Lameyer had a match-high .556 hitting percentage. DU controlled set one to a 25-16 set victory and the 1-0 overall match lead. The Panthers then found themselves behind in set two as the Racers claimed a 9-to-4 advantage. DU would then take seven of the next nine points in the match to pull the game to an 11-to-11 tie. This momentum swing would continue as the Panthers would sure up their defense behind senior
Emma Matthew as she totaled 12 digs. DU secured their 25-19 victory and continued this play into the third set as they completed their sweep with another 25-16 win in game three.
DU hit. .265 as a team for the match as
Sydney Tracer added 31 assists.
Morgan Torres had a match-high 14 digs to lead the defense that held the Racers to a .109 hitting percentage.
