GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Davenport Men's Rugby team returns to action this Saturday as they open their spring season by heading to Arkansas State to take on the Red Wolves. The Panthers will then stay on the road and head to South Carolina on February 24^th to take on Clemson, and then to Marietta, Georgia to take on Life University.

The Panthers
Davenport opens the spring season ranked no. 7 in the D1A top 20 polls, and have not been in action since October 25^th, 2014 when they defeated Lindenwood University 7-3 on the road.
 
Junior Brady Gent leads the Panthers in total points (29) and conversions made (7), while senior Jean Pierre Eloff is second on the team in total points just one behind Gent with 28. Senior Gabe Sochanek also returns to the Panthers this spring, as he leads the team in caps with eight.
