A Quick Look at Indiana Wesleyan – 33-2, 16-2 CL – Head Coach Greg TonagelIndiana Wesleyan enter the game with a 33-2 record on the season and are the number one overall seed in the tournament and the defending national champions from last season. The Wildcats held on to the number one ranking in the NAIA top-25 polls all season long and became just the third team all-time to do so. Indiana Wesleyan has the second best three-point field goal percentage in the nation as they shoot 41.4 percent from the behind the arc. This season, the Wildcats have three players who average at least 12 points per game as the team scores 82.5 points per game, while allowing just 65.6 a game.

Panthers vs. Wildcats In the only meeting between Davenport and Indiana Wesleyan back in the 2012-13 season, the Panthers traveled down to Marion, Ind., for the Caleb Dimmich Tournament. In the game, Indiana Wesleyan took jumped out to a 32-20 lead at the half, but the Panthers were able to chip away at the lead as they brought the game within three points with 2:36 left after trailing by 14 points in the second half. Derek Brooks led the Panthers scoring 16 and 13 points, respectively, while
Dominez Burnett chipped in with ten points.

Recapping the Second RoundIn the second round of the tournament, seven of the eight teams that remain are seeded teams and the only non-seeded team is Southern Oregon, who defeated Grace on Friday. Other than Southern Oregon, the only other team not seeded in the top eight that still remains is Saint Francis (Ind.), who is the 11th seed in the tournament.
