GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – After the Davenport women's lacrosse played five matches in seven days last week, the Lady Panthers will return their focus to WHAC play after they traveled down to Georgetown, Ky., for three non-conferences matches last weekend. Davenport will wrap up their five game road stretch on Wednesday night as they travel to Adrian, Mich., to face Siena Heights at 7 p.m., and they will return home on Saturday to face Aquinas at 1 p.m. on the DU Turf Field.

Live Video/Audio/Stats A Quick Look at AquinasAquinas and Davenport will play for the second time in a week and half as the Panthers traveled down the Beltline and beat Aquinas, 16-5, at Aquinas' Athletic Field. The Saints are 4-7 on the year and have 1-4 record in the WHAC as they are coming into the week after they upset Indiana Tech at home, 10-9. Before Aquinas faces Davenport, the Saints will face Lourdes on Wednesday afternoon. Hannah Crosby and Alexandra Burns lead the Saints with 32 goals each, while Burns leads the way with ten assists on the year. Haley Jacobs leads the team in ground balls, while Burns and Kendal Carr are tied with 11 caused turnover apiece to lead Aquinas.
A Quick Look at DavenportDavenport enters the week with an 8-2 record on the year and are ranked second in the NWLL polls, after they went 3-2 in their five game week last week. The Panthers lost NCAA DII squad, Fort Lewis, to start the week, before they won their next three games, beating Aquinas, Asbury (Ky.) and Georgetown (Ky.), but they were upended by SCAD (Ga.) in their final game in Kentucky over the weekend.
Taylor Balch leads the team with 30 goals and 22 assists, while
Mackenzie VanDerWarf leads the team in ground balls (39) and cause turnovers (18). In net,
Samantha Powers has been the goalie of record for all ten games this season, as she as compiled a .459 save percentage along with a 6.95 goals against average.
