LA MIRADA, Calif. - The women's volleyball team split a pair of matches on day two of the Biola University Summer Slam against nationally-ranked opponents. The first match of the day saw the Panthers defeat No. 14 College of Idaho by scores of 25-21, 25-23, 28-26.
Molly Lameyer led the team with 10 kills and a .400 hitting percentage.
Marcey DeHaan contributed nine kills and four blocks for the Panthers.
Krissy Dill registered 11 digs and eight kills.
Sidney Rodriguez led the squad with 15 digs.
Sami White chipped in 32 assists for DU.
In the second match, it was No. 2 Biola taking it by scores of 23-25, 18-25, 21-25. Lameyer pounded 15 kills for DU and hit .538, while Dehaan had eight kills and four blocks. Rodriguez had 11 digs and White had 33 assists. Davenport is now 1-3 overall this season.
