GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Panthers rolled to their fourth straight win Saturday afternoon as they swept the visiting Lawrence Tech Blue Devils. Davenport surrendered a mere 35 points in three sets as they improved to 7-6, 3-1 on the season.
Davenport controlled play from the beginning and did not lose their stride through a dominating victory in three sets.
Ashley VanderHorst saw her best offensive production of the season as she compiled 10 kills on a .600 hitting percentage.
Krissy Dill added 10 kills and nine digs while
Sami White and
Sydney Tracer combined for 32 assists. The Panthers took the third and final set after the Blue Devils managed a 4-2 early advantage before Davenport racked off nine-straight points on their way to a deciding 25-15 set victory.
Kasey Stehouwer led the defense with 10 digs as the Panthers tallied their third-straight WHAC victory.
