GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Panthers bounce back in superb fashion as they sweep Concordia 3-0. Davenport is now 14-14 overall and has one regular season match remaining on their schedule before tournament play hits. The Panthers will have to make a run down the stretch to have an opportunity to reach the national tournament.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-SET SCORES: 25-11, 25-23, 25-13
-Davenport started off with a bang as they built up an early 7-1 lead. DU would keep it rolling as their lead grew to 19-10, the Panthers would win six out of the last seven points to finish the first set and win 25-11.
-The Cardinals would come back in the second set fighting as they led early 7-3. After a couple kills by
Krissy Dill and a kill by
Ashley VanderHorst, DU was back in the mix. The two teams would go back and forth all the way up until the last point. Davenport was up 24-23 and
Sarah Wendling came through with the set winning kill.
-The Panthers would dominate the last set. DU led 14-8 towards the middle of the set and Dill would tally four kills during the remaining points to help solidify the match win.
-VanderHorst and Dill would tie with 11 kills.

Sami White was the setter with 37 assists.
-Dill led the Panthers with 16 digs.
-Dill would tally a double double with 11 kills and 16 digs.

The Panthers have one more match remaining on their regular season schedule as they host Lourdes University next Wednesday, November 2
