GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Panthers drop their last regular season game in three sets to Lourdes University. Before the start of the game
Maddy Cassleman was recognized for senior night, she was the only senior on the team this season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-SET SCORES: 25-21, 25-21, 25-20
-The Panthers played aggressive and had Lourdes on their heels a couple times throughout the first set. DU scored three straight points, capped off by a
Carly Nichols kill to tie the game at 20-20. Lourdes would score five out of the last six points to win the set 25-21.
-Davenport would again put some pressure on the Grey Wolves as DU scored 7/8 points in the middle of the set to lead 14-13. Lourdes would go on a couple runs of their own and win 25-21.
-The third set saw davenport lead late in the set 18-15. Davenport gave the Grey Wolves a run for their money during all three sets and more specifically this set. However, Lourdes was too much to handle as they won ten out of the last twelve points to win the third set.

UP NEXT
The Panthers finish tied for fifth place in the regular season standings with Siena heights and Lawrence Tech; they all were 8-8 in conference play. Davenport will take the fifth seed in the conference tournament after they won two different tiebreakers. DU will host the eight seed, Aquinas College, on Saturday November 5
th at 1 p.m. in the DU Student Center.
