GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Davenport had a thrilling game tonight against UM-Dearborn, however the final outcome did no go DU's way. After a missed three at the buzzer DU fell to the Wolverines at home for the first time in the last nine games played at DU.

HOW IT HAPPENED
In the first half Davenport had a tough time scoring the basketball, they scored 24 points and shot 32% from the field. Despite the low scoring DU was still in the game because of their defense. Davenport turned over the Wolverines nine times and only give up three offensive rebounds. At half Kevin Rich led the Panthers in the three big stats, rebounds, points and assists. He had 12 points, six rebounds and three assists.
 
In the second half both teams struggled to get a basket. Between the two teams they missed the opening nine shots taken. Rich scored the first point on a free throw and Dearborn scored the first field goal three minutes and 24 seconds into the second half. With 10:15 remaining in the game Dearborn was leading 40-35, for the remaining ten minutes both teams started to find their stroke. Over the ten minutes the teams scored a combined 47 points. Davenport had a chance to tie the game at the end, down by three and possession of the ball with ten seconds remaining. DU would miss a three pointer and was un-able to get another look at the basket.
