Both Rich and Javon Haines scored during the run, and Bramhill capped off the run with a three ball. A few plays later Wes Webbert took off in transition for a sweet alley-oop jam to bring the fans to their feet.

Davenport held a ten-point lead with 6:21 remaining and the Racers went on a six point run to cut the lead to four points over the next couple minutes. A three pointer by Bramhill and a lay-up by Rich brought the lead back up to nine points and DU hit their free throws down the stretch to close the game successfully.
