BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – Davenport competed in their third road game of the season and ran over Bloomsburg University. The Panthers scored 100 or more points for the fourth time this season and extend their win streak to six.
"The story of the day was our dominance in the scrum" mentioned Head Coach
Greg Teliczan. "We didn't perform well in the line outs but our scrummaging was unmatched by Bloomsburg."
The Panthers middle three backs,
Hannah Tennant,
Catie O'Connor and
Danielle Ordway, were constantly stealing balls in rucks and creating havoc for the Bloomsburg defensive line. This provided clean balls for
Adriana Martinez and
Alanna Girardin to finish off for try's.
The next game for Davenport will be played at home on Saturday, November 4. The Panthers will host Michigan State University at 12:00 p.m. on the DU Turf Field.
