HOW IT HAPPENED
Orlando Little opened the game for DU with a jumper in the paint on the first offensive possession to put Davenport in the lead early. After giving up a couple free throws the Panthers went on a seven-point run to take a 9-2 lead after a three pointer by Janeau Joubert. The lead increased even higher to 16 points following a three pointer by Wes Webbert. Davenport continued to get easy buckets on the offensive end of the floor. Zack Nieuwkoop layed the ball in with 8:56 to go in the first half and DU led 37-10. The lead got as high as 37 points in the first half after CJ VanTimmeren made a free throw with 0.3 seconds on the clock.

The Panthers didn't hold back in the second half, opening the half on a 15-point run to take a 72-20 lead. Davenport moved the ball around extremely well throughout the game, rarely settling for a semi contested jump shot.
