MIDLAND, Mich. – The four remaining teams in the GLIAC men's soccer tournament will all play their games in Midland, Michigan. Since Northwood University is the number one seed heading into the tournament, they host the semifinals and finals. Saginaw Valley, the two seed, will be play Northern Michigan, the six seed, at 10:00 a.m. on Friday morning. Immediately following that game Davenport will play the host team Northwood University with a tentative start time of 1:00 p.m. Davenport and Northwood squared off twice this season. The first game between the two teams back on September 22 ended in a tie after two overtime periods were played. The next game played between the Panthers and the Timberwolves was back on October 15, Davenport earned an electric 2-1 double overtime victory.
Daire O'Riordan scored the game winning goal with just two seconds left in the second overtime period. Davenport gave Northwood their only GLIAC loss of the season.
