WINTER HAVEN, Fla. - It was a rough first game down in the Sunshine State for the Davenport baseball team as they took a 7-1 lead through four innings only to see Point Park score the game's final 11 runs in a 12-7 loss. The fielding errors really hurt the Panthers (8-5) late in the game as they finished with five total. Nine of those final 11 runs scored by the Pioneers (2-1) were unearned.

Jonathan Cheshire (0-1) took the loss allowing four runs (one earned)
Keenan Smith got the win (1-0) for Point Park allowing no hits in his 3.1 inning outing
