GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Davenport wasted no time getting a new winning streak started up. The Panthers swept Indiana Tech in their conference doubleheader today 12-1 and 5-1. The team's bats were alive and well during the two games and create some nice momentum heading into their last three doubleheaders of the season. Alex Flores and
Alyssa Eastman were beasts during the day, batting in 10 runs over the two games.

The Panthers took advantage of the scoring opportunities that presented themselves throughout this first game. In the second inning Davenport exploded for seven innings and was highlighted by Eastman's double down the left side that scored Flores, Rowe and
Lauren French. Maves took care of business on the mound for her 15
th win of the 2017 season and only gave up three hits in the process.

Davenport rode the momentum of their first game win into the second game. Flores took over on the offensive side of the ball, batting in three of the five runs scored. The defense was a big story for both of the games, and especially the second game. Teunissen only gave up two hits during her six innings pitched and only gave up one run. In reward of her solid efforts on the mound she wins her 17
th game of the season.

Davenport has a quick turnaround as they host conference opponent Lourdes University during senior day at the Farmers Insurance Athletic Complex. The games are slated to start at 1:00pm and 3:00 pm, the team will recognize the seniors immediately following the conclusion of the second game.
