Mallory Teunissen had another stellar performance on the mound, she only gave up one hit in the first game against Bellarmine.

Alexis Koza led off the inning with a single to left field and then Urban pinch ran for her. Two outs later Urban stole second base with Pauley in the batter's box. Pauley drilled a single to left center and Urban came from second base all the way home to tie the game 1-1. Bellarmine didn't score in the bottom of the seventh, but they knocked in the game-winning run off a home run in the bottom of the eighth inning.
