NOTRE DAME – Davenport continued their schedule with a neutral site game against Penn State. The game was played at Notre Dame and the Panthers narrowly lost the game. One score was all that separated the Panthers from Penn State, the final score was 24-17. The loss puts Davenport at 2-3 so far this season.
The scoring opened with Penn State in the first few minutes of play. Regardless of getting down early, Davenport continued to play hard and deliver bone crushing tackles. It was a battle through all 80 minutes and the Panthers never let up.
Megan Bird made some spectacular runs and scored twice.
