GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – After a convincing sweep against Kent State, the D1 hockey sweep took on the Western Michigan Stallions for the fourth and final time this season on Tuesday night. DU scored 20 goals over the two games against the Golden Flash, while the Stallions were looking to bounce back after a split with Waldorf.
Another game, another close contest between the two GLCHL foes. Neither team found the back of the net for almost 30 minutes before the Panthers scored two quick goals halfway through the second period. They were able to coast the rest of the way thanks to the play of the freshman netminder
Alexander Rogers.

On the ensuing power play,

Modaff explained how he was surprised to be even on the ice with the PP.
The Panthers came out flying in the third period, looking for some insurance. They received in the first 90 seconds as

Head Coach
Phil Sweeney talked to the media after the win.
