Match Notes
- Davenport came out guns blazing with a hitting percentage of .400 in the first set before clips of .250, .259 and .216 in the second, third and fourth sets, respectively.
- Northern Michigan's best offensive set came in the one they won, which was the second in which they hit .410.
- Kreiger has now racked up at least 20 kills in a match four times this season, including three times in her last four matches, and 11 times in her career.
- In that most recent four-match stretch, the senior outside hitter is hitting a blistering .335 with 81 kills and only 22 errors on 176 total attacks.
- Hayley has now amassed 1,058 kills for her career, which puts her in sixth place for the program's career record book, just 89 shy of the top five.
- Kreiger also secured 16 digs for the 12th double-double of her career.
- Herr tallied six blocks, her second most this season behind only the nine she had against Notre Dame College.
- Hayes reached the 40-assist plateau for the second time this season with 47, second only to the 53 she racked up against NDC.
- Corstange snapped a two-match skid with fewer than 20 digs and reached that mark for the fifth time this season.
- Herr and Groves didn't get as many looks on the offensive end, but proved effective nonetheless with hitting percentages of .444 and .278, respectively.
Next Up
Davenport hosts crosstown rival, Grand Valley State, on Friday night at 7 p.m. The Panthers lead the all-time series with the Lakers, 5-4, and three of those five wins have come in Grand Rapids, including the two programs' most-recent matchup back in March.
