GLIAC - Fresh off a campaign in which she scored three goals in her first season as a collegiate soccer player, Citlali Luna was named Honorable Mention All-GLIAC on Thursday night. Luna becomes the program's third freshman to be named to an All-GLIAC team joining Haley Diekevers in 2021 and Madeleine Zayan in 2017, both of which were Honorable Mention as well.

"We are very proud and congratulate Citlali on receiving Honorable Mention All-GLIAC honors," said her head coach, Paige Eli. "As a freshman, she's been an outstanding player and teammate who has consistently displayed her talent and versatility as a player week in and week out this season."

The Grand Rapids native scored in the 34th minute against No. 6 Central Missouri on Sept. 4, the 58th minute against Purdue Northwest on Sept. 16 (game winner) and the 59th minute, also against the Pride, on Oct. 21. The 5-4 midfielder played in 18 of the team's 19 matches and started 17 of them while leading the squad in shots (31), shots on goal (15) and tying for first in game-winning goals with one.
