GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - After 11 road matches to begin the season, the Davenport University women's volleyball team played its 2022 home opener on Friday night against Saginaw Valley State. In the two teams' first meeting in Grand Rapids since 2017, the Cardinals took the match in straight sets. Not to be overlooked, Hayley Kreiger became DU's all-time leader in kills with 1,535 for her career passing Krissy Dill's mark of 1,528 set in 2017.
