Preview: Sixth-Seeded Panthers Head to Parkside to Open GLIAC Tournament

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - With its regular season coming to a close this past weekend, the Davenport University volleyball team now preps for the GLIAC Tournament. The Panthers (12-17, 8-10 GLIAC) finished with the No. 6 seed in the conference and are set to matchup against Parkside on Wednesday (Nov. 15) in Kenosha, Wis at 8 p.m EST.

Player Notes
Stephanie Kalinowski
  • Her 553 digs mark the fifth most in a single season in school history. 
  • Recorded a new career-high 38 digs against Saginaw Valley State (Nov. 10), marking the third most in a match in school history.
  • Served six aces against the Cardinals, which also marked a career high.
  • Leads the GLIAC in digs (553) and digs per set (4.85).

Lindsay Taylor
  • Has recorded a career-high 380 kills in her final season, ranking fourth in the conference.
  • The graduate has notched a double-double in seven straight matches and 10 of her last 11.

Emmy Webb
