OXFORD, Ohio - The Davenport track and field throwers were on hand at the Blizzard Buster hosted by Miami University on Friday to start the outdoor season.
Noah Evers took first place in the discus with a throw of 158' 5" and achieved that mark on his sixth and final attempt.
Bryce Monroe was fifth in the discus with a throw of 145' 11".
James Horn placed eighth in the hammer with a throw of 149' 3" and set a personal best.
Eion Reagh placed ninth in the javelin with a toss of 104' which was a personal record.
Lisa Wangler was able to finish seventh in the shot put with a toss of 39' 3.25". Wangler also placed fifth in the hammer with a throw of 151' 9".
