GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association has announced the 2026 USTFCCCA Track & Field Academic Awards. Davenport University's track & field and cross country programs have had a long-standing commitment to academic success under head coach
Scott Cook. The 2025-26 season was no exception as both the women's and men's track & field teams earned All-Academic Team honors. The men's team combined for a 3.31 GPA this year, while the women's team sported a 3.45 GPA.
On the women's side,
Julia Ott and
Jayla Procter earned All-Academic Athlete recognition. For the men's team,
Ethan Scholten and
Nikao Williams likewise earned All-Academic Athlete accolades.
To be eligible, students-athletes must meet strict academic guidelines of at least a 3.25Â cumulative GPA (4.0 scale) and have completed at least two semesters at the nominating institution. The nominee must also be ranked in the top-50 nationally (TFRRS) of an individual event or top-35 in the relay rankings in NCAA Division II.
