GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Davenport University men's D2 ice hockey couldn't add to its first win of the season after dropping a pair of games against Michigan State University.

The Panthers secured their first victory of the year on Nov. 23 against Roosevelt (6-2), snapping an ice-cold streak of 11 straight losses. However, a home contest on Dec. 6 and a short trip to East Lansing on Dec. 7 saw DU lose to the Spartans 12-2 and 9-1, respectively.

With hopes to secure at least their second victory of the 2024-25 campaign, the Panthers are in a weekend series against Aurora University on Dec. 13-14 for the final contests of the 2024 calendar year.
