GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Davenport University women's lacrosse team is coming off a single-game week that featured a victory over Lake Erie College, 20-7.
Feb. 27 was the first-ever meeting between the Panthers and Storm as DU put up an offensive onslaught against the non-conference opponent.Â
Theadora Krueger led the way with a career-high five goals while adding three draw controls, followed by three goals each from Maddy Haynes and Brianna Rodriguez (career-high). Gaby Basha, Alyssa Bird, and Mika Kulynych tallied two goals, with Blakely Malpass, Emma Hulshof, and Marisa Scola rounding out the scoreboard with one goal. Maisy Latus moved all the all-time leaderboards in career saves, tallying her 320th save in the win.
With a week and a half break behind them, the Panthers gear up for a nationally-ranked opponent.

Ranked No. 13 in the IWLCA Division II Poll, the Hounds (3-1) have won three straight contests after dropping the season opener to then-No. 2 Florida Southern, 22-14. The team entered the season ranked No. 12 but has maintained a top-15 position in three consecutive polls.
Olivia Bladon (16) and Megan Dunn (13) lead the pack in total goals, with Bladon second in the conference for goals per game average (4.00). Mackenzie Winn and Dunn are first and second in the GLVC for assists per game at 3.50 and 3.00, respectively. Collectively, the team leads the conference points (30.50), assists (12.00), and draw controls (18.50) per contest.
As the all-time undefeated champion in the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) regarding regular season and conference tournament titles (2021-23), Indianapolis was selected No. 2 in the GLVC Preseason Poll.Â
UIndy leads the all-time series 5-0 as the Panthers attempt to take their first-ever win against the opponent.
