GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Davenport baseball team will embark on a rather unusual road trip this weekend during their four-game series against Parkside. Due to renovations being made at their home park, the Rangers have been forced to find alternative sites to host games this spring. Therefore, the schedule for this weekend is as follows: Friday 4:30 PM ET at Concordia-Chicago's Cougar Field in River Forest, Ill.; Saturday 2:00 PM ET doubleheader at Carthage College's Augie Schmidt Field in Kenosha, Wis.; and finally Sunday's finale will be at College of Lake County Baseball Field in Grayslake, Ill. beginning at 2:00 PM ET. The Panthers enter this weekend in fourth place in the GLIAC standings at 6-10 while the Rangers are tied for fifth with Purdue Northwest at 5-13.
