Panthers Down Dragons 14-4 on Tuesday

TIFFIN, Ohio - Dylan Fallon and Charlie Fritz each recorded a career-high five points to help lift the Davenport University men's lacrosse team to a 14-4 victory over Tiffin at the Paradiso Athletic Fields. Fallon finished with three goals and two assists, while Charlie Fritz ended the game with one goal and four assists for the Panthers (2-6, 2-1 G-MAC).

In the opening period, DU dominated going ahead 6-0 at the end of the first 15 minutes of action. Fallon closed out the period with two goals in the final 2:25 of play.

2:15 into the second period, Charlie Fritz found the back of the net, pushing the Davenport lead to 7-0. The Dragons (2-6, 1-4 GLIAC) scored their first goal of the game at the 7:06 mark in the second period, trimming the deficit to six (7-1). Three minutes later, Luke Eichbauer answered for the Panthers, putting DU back up by seven (8-1).

A goal by Luke Fritz off an assist from Eichbauer in the opening minute of the second half set in motion a 4-1 DU run, giving the Panther a comfortable 12-3 advantage heading into the final period.

Seve Cordero finished the game with three goals for the Panthers, while Jayden Ashley ended the night with two goals and an assist. Eichbauer also chipped in with two goals and an assist for DU.

In the net, Antonio Hart played all but three minutes for the Panthers, tallying 12 saves in the victory.
