ASHLAND, Ohio – The fourth straight win for the women's lacrosse team was certainly the most stressful as Davenport needed double overtime before defeating Ashland 11-10 in non-conference action. The Panthers built a 10-6 lead early in the fourth quarter and then the Eagles came storming back to force overtime. Tori Wanat scored with 6:46 left in regulation and the teams remained tied until
Blakely Malpass ended it at 4:40 of the second overtime.
Ashland led the contest 5-3 late in the second quarter after a goal by Sidney Voss. The Panthers would then score the next four goals to lead 7-5 with 9:28 left in the third quarter. With the 10-6 lead after a woman-up goal by
Theadora Krueger at 13:47, the Eagles would score four times in a span of over three minutes with goals by Riley Walstrum, Carlie Wilson, and Wanat.
The Eagles had two green cards and one yellow card in the first overtime, but DU could not end the game. DU took three shots in the first overtime. The Panthers would also take both shots in the second overtime and the second one from Malpass sealed the victory. Ashland led 16-10 in draw controls and Krueger led the Panthers with four.

Zoe Cassell got the win in goal for Davenport and made six saves.
