AUSTIN, Texas - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) have selected the 2024-25 Men's Swimming and Diving Academic All-American recipients and Davenport senior Owen Stender (Otsego, Mich.) has made this prestigious list for the second straight year. Stender earned Third Team Academic All-American again, just like in 2023-24.

Stender once again qualified for the NCAA Division II nationals and swam the 200 breaststroke in a time of 1:56.89, almost breaking his own school record and placed sixth to make it back to finals in the "A" heat. In the finals, Stender finished with a time of 1:57.10 and placed seventh, making him an All-American for the second time.
