GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Frank Rogers has been named the fifth head coach of the Davenport University women's lacrosse team, Executive Director of Intercollegiate Athletics
Paul Lowden announced on Monday afternoon (July 21). He comes to DU from Siena Heights University, where he served as the head men's lacrosse coach for the 2024 season.
"With his extensive coaching background, coach Rogers has consistently led programs that prioritize both academic and athletic success," Lowden said. "A long-time ambassador for the game of lacrosse, he brings a wealth of experience in developing student-athletes and we're excited to welcome him to our staff."
Rogers has coached collegiate lacrosse for 16 years, overseeing a mix of both men's and women's programs during that stretch. Last season, the Saints were receiving votes in the NAIA coaches' poll under the helm of Rogers. They opened the season winning five of their opening six games.
Prior to Siena Heights, Rogers spent over two years at Warner University, helping start up their women's lacrosse program. Rogers also spent time at St. Ambrose (2019-22), University of Montevallo (2015-19), Brevard College (2014-15) and Aquinas College (2009-14). When Rogers was with AQ, he started up the women's lacrosse team, eventually guiding them to a WHAC regular season championship in 2014.
