GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Davenport baseball team (29-26) will be making their fourth appearance in the NCAA Midwest Regional it was announced on NCAA.com on Sunday night via the official selection show. The Panthers will be making the short trip to Grand Valley State who will host a four-team sub-regional. The competition starts on Thursday, May 14 with top-seeded GVSU taking on 8th-seed Kentucky Wesleyan. 5th-seed DU will face 4th-seed Missouri S&T out of the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
