Kucharczyk Joins Women’s Volleyball Coaching Staff

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Davenport University head women's volleyball coach Charley Andrews announced the hiring of Karlie Kucharczyk as the new assistant coach of the program on Monday morning (June 8).

"We're excited to welcome Karlie to our staff," Andrews said. "She brings valuable experience as a student-athlete, collegiate coach, and club coach, along with a passion for developing student-athletes both on and off the court. Her energy, work ethic and commitment to our culture make her a great fit for Davenport volleyball and we're excited for the impact she'll have on our program."

Kucharczyk comes to Grand Rapids from Tiffin University, where she served as a graduate assistant. While with the Dragons, Kucharczyk contributed to scouting, game preparation and player development, while also assisting in recruiting operations.

Prior to that, Kucharczyk spent time as a graduate manager with the Michigan State volleyball program. She also worked as a club volleyball coach with various programs and a camp coach with All-American volleyball camps.

In college, Kucharczyk played in the GLIAC, as she was a part of the Grand Valley State volleyball team for four seasons (2019-2022). She earned All-Conference honors while with GVSU.

Kucharczyk is a Battle Creek, Mich. native, prepping at Lakeview High School under head coach Heather Sawyer.
