Going undefeated through the WHAC is a grueling task for any men's soccer program and the Panthers came within a game from sweeping each team during the 1st half of the season. Aquinas College halted the win streak at seven with a 3-1 victory today and delivered the first number in the loss column for Davenport other than a 0. Aquinas used a balanced attack and a solid defense to knock off Davenport, who was ranked #2 in Region VIII heading into the game. The loss drops DU to 7-1-1 on the year and 5-1-0 in WHAC play. They will host a crucial 1st place showdown Saturday when the Crusaders from Madonna University come to town.
