The women's soccer team earned a season sweep of Indiana Tech on Wednesday night when they defeated the Warriors 4-2 for their 2nd win in as many tries. With the win, DU improves to 3-8-1 overall and 2-5-1 in WHAC play.

The Panthers took command of the game very early when Ashley Phillips scored in only the 2nd minute of play.  Daniella Bugli and Leah Vanlaan also scored in the first half for Davenport to give the visiting team a 3-0 halftime lead. The Warriors would not back down as they fought back to within a goal with just over ten minutes remaining, but Jaelene Huf put the game away when she scored in the 86th minute for the final outcome of 4-2. Davenport will travel across town on Saturday when they make a visit to Cornerstone University for a homecoming match-up with the Golden Eagles.
