The 2007 women's soccer team has overcome many different obstacles this year and Saturday they almost overcame one of the greatest. Traveling to conference #1 Aquinas College, the Panthers were looking to pull the upset and after a goal by Megan Powers tied the game at 1-1 just 10 minutes into the 2nd half, the outcome was in the Panthers hands. Aquinas then showed why they are the conference champions as they scored just 12:00 later and held on for the final outcome.

The Panthers season comes to an end with an overall record of 4-11-1 and 3-8-1 in WHAC play. It was a year that they can build on as many of the key players will return for the 2008 campagin. The seniors will also be missed for their leadership and constant battles during a season which featured numerous injuries.
