Grand Rapids, Mich. - The Panthers earn their first home victory on their new turf field with a 4-0 shut-out of Indiana Tech. With the win DU maintains third place in the WHAC Conference.

On a cold fall day DU came out hot and was able to get on the board early with two goals in the first half. Fourteen minutes into the game Efrain Hernandez punched a goal in from ten feet off a pass from Duvare Minto. Shortly after David Wood put the Panthers up 2-0 with a right side shot assisted by Carl Winterbottom.

In the second half the Panthers continued to put goals on the board. Duvare Minto recorded his first goal of the year and David Wood added to his goal total as he recorded his fifteenth of the year, assisted by Duvare Minto.

With the win DU moves to 9-6-1 overall, and 5-4-1 in conference play. The Panthers will be back in action on their home turf Wednesday, when they take on the Saints of Aquinas. Game time is scheduled for 4:00PM.
