FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Davenport lost a tough 2-0 match today against Indiana Tech in Fort Wayne and the defeat leaves DU on the outside looking in for the WHAC Tournament with five games remaining in the league schedule.

After not playing in ten days, DU started a little rusty and gave up two goals in the first 10 minutes to trail 2-0.

The defense then remained strong and held Tech scoreless for the remainder of the game. Unfortunately, the Warriors were also solid in their own end and only allowed one shot on net from the Panthers.

Damian Goncalves (South Africa) recorded the lone shot on goal as DU got seven other shots but none seriously threatened for a goal.

Kevin O'Brien (Ireland) took the loss in net for the Panthers as they fell to 5-6-0 on the year.

DU will travel to Aquinas on Wednesday in hopes of sweeping the Saints in the season series.
