Offense Remains Quiet as Lady Panthers Fall 2-0 to Indiana Tech

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - DU failed to find the back of the net for the third straight game as they fell 2-0 to the Warriors of Indiana Tech. Davenport, who sits in third place in the WHAC, has an overall record of 5-6-1 and is now 4-3-1 in the league.

Coming off a tough non-conference loss last week to Judson, DU traveled to Fort Wayne only to see their offense continue to struggle to put goals on the scoreboard.

DU failed to score for the third straight game as the host Warriors downed the Panthers 2-0.

Davenport did manage to outshoot IIT, as they held an 8-6 advantage but Tech got two goals within 10 minute late in the second half with one coming via a penalty kick.

Shayla Crossman (Hudsonville, Mich.) led the Panthers with three shots on net and Karitas Elvarsdottir (Iceland) finished with two on net.

DU will now travel to Madonna for a makeup game on Wednesday, October 21. Game time in Livonia is scheduled for 4:00 PM.
