WINONA LAKE, Ind. - Matt Collins led an offensive outburst by the Panthers today as they cruised to a 13-5 win over MCC foe Grace College. The victory lifts DU to 12-3 on the year with four games in Berea this weekend.

After a tough start that saw the Panthers fall behind 4-2 after just two innings, the bats started to click as DU posted four runs in the 3rd followed by another in the fourth to take a 7-4 lead.

After yielding a run back to the Lancers in the bottom of sixth, the offense came alive again and posted 6 more runs in the final three innings for the win.

Tommy Greer got the win on the mound for Davenport as Matt Collins hit two homeruns while brining in four runs on the day. Brian Spykerman went 3/6 in the game with a double and one RBI.

DU will take on Oberlin College on Saturday in a double-header at Berea before playing against the host school on Sunday in two more games.
