ADRIAN, Mich. - Davenport posted three wins in the singles session, but it was the other three losses and two in doubles that hurt them as they fell by the smallest margin in tennis 5-4 to Adrian. Davenport will conclude their inaugural season on Wednesday when they host Aquinas.

The doubles session got started on the wrong foot for DU as they lost two of the three matches with Jeff Karasinski (Comstock Park, Mich.) and Matt Weiden (Kentwood, Mich.) collecting the only win 8-2.

Karasinski then was joined by Vitaly Schumilov (Togliatti, Russia) and Andrew Meads (Middleville, Mich.) in winning their singles matches.

Meads won #5 singles 6-1, 6-4 and Schumilov won #2 singles 6-1, 6-0.

DU will end their inaugural season when they host Aquinas on Wednesday at 1:00 PM.
