Four Panthers named CSC Academic All-District

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its 2026 Men's Tennis Academic All-District selections for the 2025-26 season. Davenport had the maximum of four men's tennis players honored.
 
To be eligible for this honor, players must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5 and achieve success on the court throughout the season. Student-athletes must also be at least a sophomore academically and athletically.

Jan Stolin is being bestowed this honor for the second time in his career. Stolin is a three-time All-GLIAC honoree and compiled a total of 12 singles wins with 11 coming in dual matches at the No. 1 spot in the lineup. In his career, Jan had 61 singles victories to rank him third in Davenport history. He also had nine doubles wins in dual matches and is in a tie for sixth in school history in career doubles wins.

Jaden Bender, Reuben Bakker, and Daniel Calver are getting this award for the first time in their careers. Bender completed his second season with the Panthers in 2025-26 and captured a total of 15 singles wins, including eight in dual matches. Bakker was able to win eight times in dual singles and got at least one win in the No. 2 through No. 6 spots. Calver registered 10 doubles wins this season including eight with Bender. He also picked up nine singles wins, including six in dual matches.
