GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Head men's golf coach Phil Sweeney would like to announce the signing of junior college transfer Jackson Davison from Grand Rapids Community College.  Davison will join the Panthers as they look to make it back to the NAIA National Tournament next spring.

Jackson Davison comes to Davenport from Grand Rapids Community College where he had two stellar years for the Raiders.  Jackson was named to the MCCAA All-Conference team as well as the NJCAA D2 All-Region team. 

For his finish at the National Tournament, Davison earned Honorable Mention All-American honors as well.

Jackson is a graduate of Rockford High School where he helped the Rams to the state tournament and was the state medalist for Division 1 as a senior.

Jackson is the son of Bill and Leslie Davison and will major in marketing while at Davenport.
