BOLINGBROOK, Ill. - The Davenport University men's golf team competed in the Lewis Flyer Spring Invite at the Bolingbrook Golf Club. The Panthers played 27-holes in two days of action, finishing with a team score of 252 (+20), only five strokes behind first place (Illinois Springfield and Rockhurst).

Justin Grimard was the top performer for DU, finishing tied for fifth overall. Through 27 holes, the junior shot 112 (+4) with a pair of birdies in the first 18 holes of action. 

Chen-Shiuan Wu was one stroke behind Grimard with a score of 113 (+5). Wu had three birdies in 27 holes and finished tied for 17th overall. Cayden Kwan notched a 25th place finish, shooting a 114 (+6) with five birdies.

Rounding things out for the Panthers was Hudson Turcotte and Cameron Barrett. Turcotte shot a 115 (+7), while Barett had a score of 116 (+8).

Looking ahead, DU will head to Noblesville, Ind. for the UIndy Spring Invite from April 5-8 at the Purgatory Golf Club.
