The WHAC Tournament Thus Far
In a battle between the top four seeds in the WHAC Tournament, the top two used homefield advantage to advance last Saturday in the semifinal as No. 1 Davenport and No. 2 Northwestern Ohio each held off No. 4 Madonna and No. 3 Aquinas by the scores of 1-0, respectively, to advance to the championship match. Abbey Tyson scored in the 21st minute to help the Panthers defeat the Crusaders while Sarah Huchet used her 21st goal of the year in the 61st to lift the Racers over the Saints.

The Last Time Between Davenport and Northwestern Ohio
In the first women's soccer meeting between Davenport and Northwestern Ohio, the host Racers used a successful penalty kick taken by Taryn Pardoe in the fourth minute and a goal by Anja Koempel in the 81st to shutout the Panthers 2-0 on Oct. 26. The loss also snapped DU's program-record 13-match win streak. Davenport tried to recover from the penalty kick, even taking a pair of shots that hit the crossbar, but failed.
