Erin Dierickx punched the Queen Bees ticket to the national tournament with a goal 1:49 into overtime. On paper, Ashley Dexter has shown to be dangerous as she leads the team with 19 goals and 10 assists for 48 points. Morgan Lynn has been the Queen Bees go-to player between the posts, having started all but one match this season. She's only allowed 13 goals (0.71 GAA) and carries a .817 save percentage.

Ashford tied the match again 1:22 into the second period only to lose it again to Cannonier's second goal of the day in the 54th minute. Ashford evened the score three apiece in the 69th minute and scored the match-winning goal in the 87th.
